MR SEDDON'S SURPLUS.
(Received February 19,10 p,m,l Mkmourxk, February 19, The Hon. Mr Seddon, writing to the Argus, estimates his surplus for this financial year at £300,000, made up us follows: —£100,000 from the Customs; £BO,OOO from the railways; £120,000 stamps, post and telegraph, territorial, land and income taxes.
