With regard to the work itself it is full of pleasing harmonies and the solos and concerted music are bright and sparkling- As the cantata is to be presented in character it will resemble .a grand opera more tliuu a cantata, 1 and should bp yen' effective. Altogether a musical treat may be anticipated, and the production of "The ffaymilkers" in Mnsicrlon will bo looked forward to with interest, particularly as it will come when there is usually 11 deartli of entertainment hero. The cantata is one of tho highest' class ell'nrls ever underlnkcn in Mastcrton, and the promoters deserve the success which wc heartily wish them.
