Duxeiux, Wednesday, In settling the list of contribute ies of the Ward Farmers' AssoSP lion, a point of interest in connection with the transfers to miners was settled by Mr Justice Williams. Some four shares in the Wai#'' Association were held in 1892 by A.' L. Gellatly. These were transferred to J. 11, Brown for Value, and the transfer approved by the directors of the Association. Brown' held these shares till the list of contributors came to be settled, when he objected to' be included on the ground that he was a minor when ■ the purchase was made, and was 1 ' still, in fact under age, It was sought to provo that tho directors were nil along aware that Brown was au infant, but as tho eyidence did not support the contention that tho directors did not know Brown's age, His Honor ordered Gelktly's name to be placed on the list of contributories,
