Events will be conducted and decided strictlyin accordance with the Society's rules and conditions of competition, a cop; of which will be pasted up in a conspicuous place on the Ground. Competitors in the Bicycle events must supply, with entry, weight of machine, gear, description, and name of maker, Entries for all Handicaps, Treo-iellinct, and Sawing contests, accompanied with fees and performances for handicap;, must be lodged with the Secretary not later than Saturday, tho 19th December. Handicaps will be posted in Masteiton on Thursday, tho 24tu December. Acceptances on the ground between 10 and 11 a.m. on day of sports, Ist January, Three competitors or no second prize. All amateur events to be competed for under the rules of the N.Z, A. A, aud N.Z.C. Association. The decision of Ihi Directors, or whoever they may appoint, shall in all oases be absolutely final. In the event of the weather proving unfavorable, the Directors may postpone the sports from day to day.
