He . proposes to license professional men. ' The estimated revenue for pext year , is £786,000 and tlio expenditure £751,000. The total deficiency of the colony is 1455,000. This the. Treasurer said would be reduced bjfe' £73,000, and he added that the time '■■■ was opportune for the conversion of the colony's debt upon more advan- . tageous terms than.three and a-half 1 percent,
