- —♦- From Our Oini Correspondent. Tuesday. A heavy fall of snow took place last night on the Mungiiraki aud Otaraia ranges, and also on the Rimulaka aud Tararuas. The wedding that was postponed last Saturday at St. Luke's Church was celebrated yesterday. A petition is being signed hero in favour of the Irish National Text Book, which is proposed to haye introduced into our Stale Schools. It is stated here that E Mitchell is now willing to accompany the Wairavapa " reps" to Christchurch, if picked in the final selection, and will play for a placo at next Saturday's practice. Anywhere in the forward division his inclusion would strengthen the team.
