i From our own Correspondent, Tuesday. : Tlio funeral of the late Mrs Caverhill took place yesterday, .1 1 good number of friends following the remains to their last resting . place, The Rev. J. Hewson conducted the service at the grave. The Eov. Mr Baumber conducted the Anniversary Services, in the ] Wesleyan Church, on Sunday last. A large ferret was captured here last week, by a dog. Iu the struggle, tho dog had one of its ears slit right in half. A young man who had just roturned from a month's holiday trip, last Saturday evening, was taken by surprise'at the railway station, when showers of rice foil upon him. Mistakes will happen !
