MEhiiotinxij, May 21, Tho Minister of Railways stated in tho Assombly that uuloss there wrs to he a change in the gauge, railway construction might ho regarded as at an end for tho present, as thoy could not construct lines at tho cost which had obtained in tho past, Adelaide, May 21. Mr Hawkor, who it is reported is about to bo Knighted, is dying.
