Tho Stipendiary Magistrate sat to a late hour on Tuesday afternoon for tho investigation of a civil case in \yhich John Kinsley, a farmer, of sOed George H. Scales for £64185, dainago alleged to have been occasioned to a flock of sheep belonging to the former which had been placed by him in a paddock at the H(itt owned by the Wellington A. arid P. The allegation was that some 200 sheep had beon worried by greyhounds owned by Ihe defendants, and several had been killod by tho dogs between the 10th and 28th March, Mr Skorrett appeared for tho plaintiff, and Mr Gully for the defendant.
