DETERMINED SUICIDE.
(By Tolegrapb.—Pross Association,) Napier, Wednesday. A young man named Stuart Richmond, a cadet at the Mangateretoro Btatiotkoommitted suicide yesterday in t<4Bp determined manner. His brother hud been talking to him on the verandah, but left to put on hi» boots, Hearing the report of a gun ho ran into the bouse, and saw his brother lying on the floor with the top of his head blown cleau off. There TO a rifle besido lmn, with a string attached to Urn trigger, indicating tint he hail fired it with his font. Ho was a roeent arrival from Wellington, where he bus relatives. Lust summer he Buffered from influouza, and lie never properly recovered. He ofien said be wished he wna dead, but no suicidal tendencies were suspected.
