The survivors of the warship Victoria consider the brave end of Admiral Tryon largely condoned his error, The naval officers at Portsmouth declare that the officers on the Camperdown, by henitaling to obey the signal, probably produced the collision, Officers of the squadron state that are unable to understand why Rear-Admiral MarWism/on realising the danger, obeyed the signal at all, Borne of the Victoria's officers consider that Admiral Tryon was suffering from physical exhaustion. Itis stated that Captain Bourke'e. hair turned white during the collision. In answer to a question in the Bouse of Commons to-day, Sir A, Kay-SlmUleworth, Secretary to the Admiralty, stated that acourt-martial of officers connected with the disaster would be held in Malta imraediately
