Cr Von Redin thought the best thing the Council could do ■ with reference to the law costs of the Whareama Board was to appoint a committee to consider the question. He would movo that Crs Maunsell, Stuckey, Murray, and tho mover be appointed a committee to investigate the matter anil report to next meeting, The Chairman seconded, Cr Meredith said he did not wish to influence the Council, but he thought the Committee should make an eipijiustive enquiry into the phoje case.
