THE SAURIAN MONSTER.
Auckland, December 7, A singular accident occurred here toniglit. A seal, which has been on exhibition here for some time past as the " saurian monster" which created somuoh excitement recently in Waikato, got burned through a lamp'iff felling during the absence of the pro-' ' prietor, who returned just in time to prevent the building catching fire.
