GREYTOWN—WEDNESDAY, (Before H. A, Stratford, R.M., and F. H. Wood, J.P.) Edward Orbell v. John Tully—Failing to destroy the rabbits on land occupied by him, Defendant pleaded guilty, hut desired to give evidence as to the steps he had been taking. The Court ruled that if there were any rabbits on defendant's land, evidence would not avail him unless it was in mitigation of penalty. The informant only pressed for the minimum fine, and the defendant was fined £lO, and costs 16s 6d. H, W. Kempton v. Richard Ross — Debt £sloa. Judgment for plaintiff for amount and costs.
