OTICE ij horcby given that ilie following resolution will bo proposed at tlio moating of tho Council io bo held on THURSDAY, the 13th March next This Council hereby, by special ordor, declares those portions of tho Mastotton Eoatl District and Cashpoint Bond District situate in tho County of Wairavapa East, comprising one continuous area, and contained within tho following boundaries, that is to say: Bounded on tho north from trig- station Arawaru, on the Tararuu range, to trig, station Puketoi, on tho Puketoi ran«e, by tins Pahiatua Bond District, ns described i n piifjo 1708 of tho New Zealand Gassd'", No. 125, of llio Ist of December, 1883; thence in a south easterly direction by a right lino to tho north west corner of section No. 00 in tho Puketoi Survey District; thcuco by tho western boundary of said section No. 50, and tho western and part of tlio southern boundaries r.f section No 51 in the sinie survey district lo section 52; thence by tho m-s----tern and northern boundaries of the I k' montionod section to the Tiraumea Rm-i; thence southwards by the Tiraumea River to ils conflueneo with Ihe Waitawhiii stream; Ihenco by tho said stream tn the north east corner of section No 127. in the Whareama Block ; thence V»y the eastern boundaries of tho List meii'ioni-d section, section No 128 in the same block, and section No, 151 in Ihe Ennuitumau Block, lo the north cast corner of section No 143 in the Wharoama Block ; thence westwards by tbe imrilietn boundary of tlio last mentionod eoolion, and by a stiaijjht lino cuti'iii" uing the said boundary westwards tu ;.» intersection with the dividing lino tutwecn section No. 161 before nii'iiiiouoii, and ilie .College Reserve in the same block; thence southwards by tlio taid dividing line to tho north cast coiner of section No. 2G in thu same block; thence by the south eastern boundaries of the last mentioned section and section 27, the south eastern, southern, and part of the western boundaries of section No. 22, to tlio south oast comer of section No. 1G; thence by the south em boundary of tho last mentioned section, tho south eastern nnd southern boundaries of section No 9G, and southward by a portion of the eastern boundary of Section No, 95, all in tlio ltniigi* tumau Block, lo a public road; thence westward by tlio centre of (ho said public oad to its intersection with llio Wanuiirelm Valley Road; thenca southward by the centre of tho last mentioned mad to tho south west comer of section No 92 in tho said block; thcuco westwards by a straight lino (mapuolic beating, 235° 30') Io tho Manawalu County; aril thence northwards by tlio Manawalu County to the point of commencement, shall constitute a new Road District, lo bo called tho Alfredton lioad District. ' is hereby given that llio following resolution will be at a meeting of the Council to be hold on THURSDAY, the 18th March next Tho Council hereby, by special ord r, declares those portions of tho Masterton Road District and Castlcnoint Road District, situato in tbo County of Wairarapa East, comprising one continuous area, and contained within the following boundaries, that is to say Commencing at the northwest corner of section No 157 in tho Whareama Block; thence by the northern and eastern boundaries of that section, and by the eastern boundaries of- sections numbered respectively 145, ldG, 147,152,151, and part of 150, in the samo block to tho north west corner of section No 812; thence by tbo northern. and eastern boundaries of the last mentioned section to section No 293 in the said block; thcuco by the northern and eastern boundaries of the last mentionod section, and section No 872, the eastern bouudaries of sections numbered 873, BG3, part 2, BGB, and BG6 in the same block, and by a creek which forms part of the south western boundary of the last mentioned section : to section No 98; thence by the southern boundaries of sections numbered 98,97, 9 to 13, and 12, all in tho Wharoama Block to tho Taueru River; thence. southwards by the Taueru River, to its cqnfluenco with tho Mangatopitopi Crcok, and tlieuco by the said creek to ils intersection with magnotio bearing, 74° 28' 35.1"; thence westwards by the said bearing to the Wangaehu River; thence northwards by tho 'Wangaehu River, and by tho western boundaries of a block of land marked Takamaitu on the map of the County of IVairarapa East, to the southernmost corner of Section No. 119 in the Rangitumau Block; thence by tho south western, western, and, northern boundaries of the last mentioned section and section No. 115, and 5 tho south western and western boundaries of sections numbered 145, 112,108, and 99, all in tho Rangitumau Block, to tho southern boundary of the Alfredton Road District boforo described; and thence eastwards by the Southern boundary of that lload District to llio point of commencement: Shall constitute a new Boad District, to be called the Upper Taueru Road District, That tho number of members for the Upper Taueru Road District shall bo FIVE, but the said new district shall not bo divided into subdivisions,
