THE Wairarapa East County Council proposes leasing to Emma Greathead of the flurnnuiorangi Hotel, the Huruuuiorangi ferry reserve, containing ;40 acres or thereabouts, for a term of ten years from the Ist day of May, 1880, at the knt of £2O per annum, payable quarterly. Mrs Greathead to insure and repair buildings, also to remove timber accumulating against bridge and provide ferry-boat at current rated, in case of bridge being impassable, and nut to sub-let without Council's consent—usuaj power of entry on default for thirty days.
