Specimens of Caswell Sound Marble can be eceh at any of the Museums in New Zealand ; the Chamber of Commerco, Wellington, or on application to any of the Officers of tho'Company. In introducing this eligible investment to the notice of this public, tho promoters desire to state tliatthe Company's rights com: prise tho:bcst, most available, extensive, and perhaps most valuable Marble in the known World, at all events in the Southern Hemisphere. This is sufficiently proved by .Caswell Sound Marble securing the first prize, at the late Sydney Exhibition against Italian Statuary and other valuable varieties, They also wish to dwell upon its known certainty afld non-speculative character, the ultimate success of this venture being now established. Tho lowest quotation for this" Marble is 12s per foot, and ranges Up to £o. Larger blocks arc, however, much more valuable, some pure Whito Statuary, without flaws, realising as much as £20,000 sterling in Europe. Tho ordinary price for a block suitablo for a lifc-siw human statuo being about LIO9O. The present cost of producing this Marble by manual labor only is abopt 2s per cubic foot, f.o.b. Thcso figures may appear incredible, but they arc nevertheless absolutely correct. Thus, taking tho cost of production as stated, and tho very lowest wholesalo quotations at 12s per foot, gives tho apparently fabulous minimum rate of ?00 per cent, profit. It is, therefore, no .visionary matter, as these arc leading commercial lines and the values well known, the facilities of production, shipment, high quality of product giving a, vast advantage over any like property in tho world. Wo will also venture to predict that tho value of tho Company's shores will increase at least 300 per cent, within twelve months of issuo. to consumption of these commodities, it is also enormous. Tho consumption of Marble, Portland Cement, and Lime in tho Australian Colonies alouo during tlio last twclvo months has been £2,862,G00 etorling, a d rapidly increasing' Caswell' Sound is a commodious and safe harbor for the largest vessels in all weathers, tlio works of.the Company beiiig situated the water's edge. Tho Covorument of this Colony has also promised to favorably consider special grants and concessions in aid as soon m the Company is successfully floated.
