GREYTOWN SCHOOL.

A meeting, of the Committee was held on Tuesday evening. Present -Messrs Bock (in the chair), Smith, Barnard, Hammerioh, Beard, Salmon, Fenton, and the Secretary, The minutes of the previous meeting were read aud confirmed.

The Headmaster reported the average attendance for the past quarter at 203, and 'past two weeks at 223; that a scraper-was wanted at the boys' entrance au4 new door mats were required, and that the present arrangement re stationery and cleaning was not satisfactory. Resolved, on the motion of Dr Smith, seconded by Mr Haminerich, that an application be made to the Board for a sura of money to build sheds and lavatories in the playgrounds. ' ; .-. Resolved that stationery be proouredby the Committee andsupplied to the scholars through the headmaster, and that he be requested to. state what sum he would cousider necessary for cleaning, etc Resolved, on the motion' of Mr Barnard—That the. scraper arid mats be at once, procured. • .
