GREYTOWN HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
A meeting of Committee was held on Saturday last at Mr Bock's office, Pre-sent-Messrs Barnard (in the Chair) Barratt, Brooks, and the Secretary. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Mr Beard offered a special prize of 10a each for the beat six roses and six gladiolas. s
Re catalogues, it was resolved 011 the motion of Mr Beard, seconded by Mr Barratt, that the errors be pointed out to the printers and they be requested to correct them, It was resolved that one hundred tickets be printed. Messrs Porritt, Maxton, and Bock were appointed stagers, and Messrs H H Jackson, Braitwaite, Porritt, W. Booth' bpeannk, R, Donald, and B. Boys were elected judges, It was resolved that the Kuratawhiti Brass Band be asked to play at the show, and that the show be at once advertised, The meeting then adjourned until Saturday, December 6, at the same time and place.
