RULES, The saddling bell will ring at 11,30 each (lay; first race to start at 12 o'clock sharp. The winner of the Maiden to carry gibs extra in tho Produce L'ace, The District Race is ( pen to all horses owned in the district at least six month previous to this Race Meeting. The Produce liace is for all horses bred and trained in the district and that have never started for an advertised race. In case of a protest, the same must he lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of £2; such deposit to he forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious, The winners of first day's hack races will not be allowed to run for those on the second day; nor will the'sinner of the £lO hack on either day be allowed to run for the smaller catch weight hack race. No person will be allowed to enter a horse unless lie bs a subscriber of at least £1 to tho Jockey Club fund, _ No scratching of horses to be done except it be through the Secretary, General entries to be made to the Seeietary at the Club Hotel, Masterton, between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock on the evening of Thursday, November 27th, previous to the race meeting, Entries to be acco jpanicd by the required amounts, also names and ages of horses and colors of riders,.,and no entries will be received after that night either by letter or telegram. Weights for Opaki Stakes Handicap to be declared at the Club Hotel on the Monday evening previous to the meeting, Acceptances for Opaki Stakes Handicap close at 15 minutes after the Ladies' Purse is run,

Weights for the Hurdle Race to be declared same night as the Opaki Stakes Handicap. Acceptances for Hurdles to close on Tuesday evening, not later than 8 o'clock. Acceptances for District Handicap will close 15 minutes after the weights are declared on the second day after the Produce Kacc is run, Nominations for Consolation Handicap to he made to the Secretary 15 minutes after the District Handicap is run. Nominations for the Waihenga Stakes, Sapling Stakes, and Hurkle Handicap must lb sent in on or before the 15th November, under seal to the secretary, Nominations will not be entertained aftei that date, Handicaps will be declared on the night of general entry, 6th December, and entrances will close on the. same evening, not later thau 8 p.m., lit the Waihenga Hotel. The Wairarapa Jockey Club liules will be strictly adhered to, All horses entered for the above events must be bona fide property at the time of eutry. ■ All persons entering horses must be a subscriber of at least 21s to the race fund.
