The Produce liace is for all horses bred and trained in the district and. that have never started for an advertised race. In case of a protest, the same must be lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of £2; such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winners of first day's hack races will not be allowed i.o run for those on the second day;_ nor will the dinner of the £lO hack on either clay be allowed to run for tlm smaller catch weight hack race.
