The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six month previous to this Race M'-eting. /"^ The Produce Eace is for all horses bred and trained in the district and that havo never started for an advertised race. In case of a protest, the same must be lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of £2; such deposit to he forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winners of first day's back races will not be allowed to ran for those on the second day; nor will the winner of the £lO hack on either day be allowed to run for the smaller catch weight hack race. No person will be allowed to enter a horse unless ho be a subscriber of at least £1 to thr Jockey Club fund. No scratching of horses to be done except it be through the Secretary. General en'vries to be made to the Secietary at the Club Hotel, Masterton, between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock on the evening of Thursday, November 27th, previona to the race meeting. Entries to be accompanied by the required amounts, also names and ages of horses and colors of riders, and no entries will be received after that night either by letter or telegram. Weights for Opaki Stakes Handicap to be declared at the Club Hotel on the Monday evening previous to the meeting. Acceptances for Opaki Stakes Handicap close at 15 minutes after the Ladies' Purse is run. Weights for the Hurdle Race to be declared same night as the Opaki Stakes Handicap. Acceptances for Hurdles to close on Tuesday evening, not later than 8 o'clock. . Acceptances for District Handicap will close 15 minutes after the weights are declared on the second day after the Produce Race is run, Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be made to the Secretary 15 minutes after the District Handicap is run.
