The Produce Bace is for all horses bred and trained in the district and that have never started for an advertised race. In ease of a protest, the same must be lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes after tho race is rim, with a deposit protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winners of first day's hack races will not bo allowed to run for those on the second day; nor will the Viiimer of the £lO hack on either day be allowed to run for the smaller catch weight hack race. No person will be allowed to enter a horse unless he be a subscriber of at least £1 to thr Jockey Club fund. No scratching of horses to be done except it be through tho Secretary. General entries to be made to tlic Seciotary at the Club Hotel, Masterton, between the hours of 7 find 9 o'clock on the evening oj Thursday, November 27th, previous to iiie race meeting. Entries to be acco .rpaiiied by the required amounts, also names and ages of horses and colors of riders, and nc entries will be received after that night eithei by letter or telegram.

Nominations will not be entertained nftci thai (late, Handicaps will lie declared on the night of general entry, 6th December, and entrances will close on the same eveuiug, not later tha 8 p.m., at the Wpihenga Hotel.
