CASTLEPOINT HIGHWAY BOARD.

A meeting of the Board was held at Tenui on Saturday, the 16th inst. PresentMessrs J. W. Butters (Chairman) Groves, Bellis, Smyth, and Greenland. Cross and others, requesting that a road be laid off to Glenside and other properties in the bush at the back of Flag Creek. -From Mr Smyth, had been duly elected Warden for No. G Ward, in place of Mr Duffy resigned.— -From Mr Duffy requesting to "be furnished with a copy of application from Mr J. V. Smith and others re road-work. - From Mr Brockman re Taueru pound.— From Mr A, ifapier requesting the attention of the Board to a bridge being carried away near his property on the Tiraumea.

RESOLVED. That the sum of three pounds be expended on the road between Kaitawa and Tiraumea near Mr Napier's house.-That Mr Brockman be informed that this Board lias not the control of the Taueru pound. -That Mrs Stillen be informed that her letters have been forwarded to the County Council.-That Mr Duffy's request be complied with—That a sum of £2O be expended to remove slips and repair culvorts between Mataikuna station and the beach,
