PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.
To (he, Editor of the Wairabapa Carterton, July' 9 th, Sir,—Re Pastoral Society meeting, You have a local in your issue of tins day'# date, in which you state "it is within your knowledge, tlwt even some of the members of the association themselves were kept in ignorance of it."
The annual meeting of the Wairarapa, and East Coast Pastoral and Agricultural Society is always open to the Press; it is not a public meeting, but a meeting »f members; any of the public, can qualify themselves by paying the annual inscription, £1 Is, which I shall be glad OT«ceiv® and forward a ticket by return post ai time for the adjourned meeting for ejection of Officers, etc, for the ensuing year; on the sth of next month,
• Will you impart'to me som& of vour knowledge, and forward the names members of the Society (not Association) who were kept in ignorance of it ? A Circular was posted to each member, of the Sooiety who paid their last year's ■■subscription, who alone were entitled to be present.
