TAKE NOTICE.—The Valuation Lists under" The Land Tax Act, 1878," for the Counties of Wairarapa East and Wairarapa West, Wellington District, aro now deposited at the places stated below. Every person interested may inspect such lists and take copies thereof at all reasonable hours during a period of fourteen days from the 28th May. Any person who considers himself aggrieved by reason of the unfairness or incorrectness of any valuation, or by the insertion or incorrectness of any matter therein, may, cither by himself or his agent, object as by the Act is provided. All objections must be in writing under the hand of the objector or his agent and in the prescribed form, and delivered or posted to ine at my office at Wellington before the 16th day of June next. Notice must bo given of claims for exemption from land tax, and every such notice must be included in a notice of objection to tlio valuation; and in sucli notice the claimant shall state the particulars of property or properties m respect of which such exemption is claimed, and the district in which he desires that such exemption shall take effect, If two or more claims to exemption relating to the said land be put in, the samejhall be treated as one claim. Any person knowingly and wilfully mak- . ing a false claim for exemption from laud tax is declared by the said Act to bo guilty of a misdemeanonr.
