SIX-WHEEL LORRY
WILL SURMOUNT ALL OBSTACLES. VEHICLE AT PRESENT IN WAI MATE. A demonstration, of the Guy Rigd six-wheel motor lorry, which, it s claimed, is eminently adapted 'or conveying heavy loads especialy aver boggy places, will be given it the Otaio Bridge to-morrow at Lt) a.m. In Dunedin recently, a public lemonstration was given on the reclaimed land. The vehicle selected for the trial was of three to five :ons capacity, and’ the ground on which it worked was rough and boggy and wet after the recent heavy rain. A three ton load of road metal and pig iron was carried. The lorry, however, snrmountede all obstacles. It elimbed mounds, crossed ditches, and made its way through ruts with • mud up to the axles. In fact, it tackled everything that came in its way, and won through without a stall.
