DOMINION UNION The New Zealand Rugby Union at its last meeting drew up a programme of representative matches for the season. I The first Ranfurly Shield game I will probably be between Canterbury (the holders), and Waiarapa at Christchurch on July 18th. The inter-island match is to be played at Christchurch on 18th Aug ust, and (he tests between New Zealand and New South Wales will be played at Wellington on September sth; at Dunedin on September ,Bth; "'id at Cliristnhureh on September 15th.
South Canterbury Matches. The following are among the matches in which A grade teams meet other A grade provinces.— July 28.—South Canterbury V. Waiarapa, at Timaru. August B.—Auckland V. South Canterbury at Timaru. August 22.—Canterbury V. South Canterbury at Timaru, September 12,— Wellington V. South Canterbury at Timaru. September 26.—Southland V. South Canterbury, at Invercargill. September 29.—Otago V. South Canterbury, at Dunedin.
