ROYAL SHOW

GREAT INCREASE IN EXHIBITS. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) SYDNEY, April 11. The Royal Show opened in wet and cold weather.

The exhibits in all departments show a great increase compared with those of last year.

Owing to an outbreak of swine fever the County of Cumberland has been declared a quarantine area, and the movement of pigs has been prohibited. Consequently no pigs are being exhibited this year.

To-day was devoted to judging cattle, which are representative of all States, and New Zealand.

F. Moore, of Bushy Park, Kai-Iwi, secured a special prize for the best fat bullock or steer.
