PROPERTY SALES
IN BANKRUPT ESTATE OF MEREDITH & CO.
Under conduct of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Timarn, Messrs Pyne, Gould, Guinness, Ltd., sold on Saturday, property and t'pil dings in the bankrupt estate of G S Meredith and Co.
There was a large attendance. The property in Parsonage Road in which the bankrupt resided, was withdrawn.
Bidding was exceptionally slon, and the properties brought very low prices.
Freehold property and buildings in Queen Street, containing 34J perches, and on which were the late offices of the bankrupt firm, and leaseholds to the Bank of New South Wales and Mr C. W. Englefield was sold to the Bank of New South Wales for £4,400.
The freehold property in Mill Road, containing one acre 27J perches, with a 6-roomed brick house, was sold to the Bank of N.S.W. for £650. The freehold section in Shearman Street and Graham Street, containing 3 perches, was acquired by Mr E. Presland for £l6O.
The freehold property in Studholme Street, containing 1 rood with a cottage, was bought by the Bank of New-South Wales for £l5O.
The freehold property in Paul St. containing 1 rood, was bought by the Bank of New South Wales for £5O.
Borough leasehold property in Tennant (Street, containing 2 roods with a storeroom, made £3O, being acquired by the Bank of New South Wales.
