ANALYSED BY MINISTER. WHEAT WORTH SIX SHILLINGS.
In his address at Ashburton on Wednesday the Hon O. .1. Haw ken (Minister of Agriculture) quoted, certain figures going to. show ‘.hat flour could be manufacture d from wheat bought at. 6s f.o.b. South !■> land, at a price enabling New Zealand whesat to compete, successfully with flour imported from Australia. The Minister yesterday supplied the following tables which show the basis on which he made hi-: culcuialions: —
