A most successful school concert and presentation of prizes was held in the Willowbridge Hall on Wednesday night, the programme being composed mainly of items by the School children. The teachers cannot be too* highly praised for the way in which the pupils rendered their items. Other items were given by Messrs Hayman aaid J. Borthwick (songs), and a pei dance by the Misses Thomas, the accompaniments being played by Miss Scott.

After the numerous prizes had been distributed, all and sundry ad icurned to the supper room, where a well-laid out supper provided by the ladies of the district, was done full justice to. This was followed by dancing for which the music was supplied by Mr A. Borthwick, Messrs K. Hollamby and A. Cruickshank acting as M’s.C.
