Potato®: The market is much easier, and has weakened considerably during the week. The “Kaietu” is now discharging in Sydney and sales are reported at £ll per ton. It is difficult to interest buyers in even July delivery, as all orders are apparently filled. Auckland is drawing sufficient supplies from consignments and is not interested. The crops are turning out much better than anticipated, and about 85,000 sacks have already been exported to Sydney. Farmers have been fortunate in having this market to fall back upon, or without it the price would have been very low indeed. Barley—Chevalier 4/9. Chaff —Good brought £5 10/-, fog £5. Oats.—Gartons, A. 3/6, B. 3/3. Wheat—Tuscan 7/-, Hunters 7/2, Pearl 7/4, fowl wheat 6/9 f.o.b. Potatoes: prompt, £5 10/-, July £5 15/-. Partridge Peas—No. 1, 7/-. Linseed—£l2 10/- per ton. Cocksfoot—sd per lb. White Clover—lod per lb. Cowgrass—Bd per lb.
