FEDERAL RESEARCH BUREAU.
ESTABLISHED BY MR VANDERBILT. Per Press Association—Copyright. WASHINGTON. March 20. Mr Frank Vanderlip, the noted financier, who was formerly president ef the National Bank, suspecting there were many aspects of the national scandals being suppressed for the sake of political expediency, has organised: a so-called Federal Re search Bureau to investigate the conduct of Federal departments, and to publish the findings or refer them to the proper investigating committee. Mr Vanderlip is conscious of the enmity which the venture will probably arouse, and has taken out a million dollars personal accident insurance policy.
