LICENSING COMMITTEE.

QUARTERLY MEETING. The quarterly meeting of the Waitaki Licensing Committee was held yesterday. There were present: — Messrs E. I). Mosley, S.M. (chairman), C. Coventry, C. (i. Holmes, and Allan McPherson. A renewal of license was granted to John Sharpe, Otago Central Hotel, Hyde. / An application by Thomas E. O’Connor, for the renewal of the license of the Wjaipiata Hotel, Waipiata, was adjourned to allow him to complete the erect; , n of fire escapes. A transfer of tiie license of the license of the Criterion Hotel, Waimate, from Charles W. Fisher to Easter Annie Stenhouse, was granted and also in respect of the Redeliff Hotel, from M. O'Connor to Sam. A. Pluck.
