MEMORY OF SIR HENRY WILSON DESIRED ONLY PEACE FOR IRELAND. Press Assn.—By Tel. —Copyright. London, July 9. At the unveiling of a portrait of Field-Marshal Sir Henry Wilson at Belfast, Sir James Craig declared that Field-Marshal Wilson had been totally unconnected with the policy of the Northern Government. Sir Henry had no feelings of hatred towards the south and west of Ireland; he was a great Irishman, desirous of peace and prosperity for Ireland. Sir Henry Wilson recently only was was asked to help to make provision to protect Ulster’s boundaries and his disposition of the special constabulary had constituted a defence which could not be broken down.
