GERMANY’S PEACEFUL POLICY.

Washington, May 25. Dr. Wiedfeldt, the new German Ambassador, in presenting his credentials to President Harding, said that he hoped to gain American confidence in the peaceful tendency of the policy of Germany, which was only bent on serving the interests of the workers and the welfare of the people. The. President replied that he was glad to co-operate in strengthening those economic and intellectual relations which had so long been maintained between the German and American people.
