KING’S BIRTHDAY. ||OLIDAY Excursion tickets will be issued from any station to any station on South Island Main Line and Branches from Ist to 3rd June, and from any station on South Island Main Line and Branches to Dunedin on 29th, 30th and 31st May. All available for return until 17th June. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. On 3rd June the usual 4.20 p.m. train for Oamaru and Waihao Downs will leave Timaru 4.40 p.m. On 29th May the train to connect at Studholme with t the 8.45 am. Christchurch-Dunedin express train and Dunedin-Christchurch mail train will leave Waimate 12.8 p.m. . On Ist, 2nd, 3rd and sth June trains will -run between Waimate and Studholme, connecting with up and down mail and express trains. Passengers from Waimate should travel afe follows:—For North: Leave Waimate at 12.8 p.m. or 3.10 p.m. For South: Leave Waimate 12.8 p.m. or’ 4.11 p.m. EXTRA EXPRESS TRAINS. On 29th May, 2nd and sth June the 8.45 a.m. express train from Christchurch will run to Dunedin. On Ist and 3rd June the 12.20 p.m. mail train Christchurch to Dunedin and the 8.0 a.m. mail train Dunedin to Christchurch will run. On 2nd and sth June the 11.15 a.m. express train from Dunedin will run to Christchurch, but will not connect with the ferry boat for Wellington. On 3rd June special train taking passengers from Dunedin for stations north of Palmerston will leave Dunedin 9.5 p.m. For fuller particulars see posters.
