ACCIDENT AT POLO. (Per Press Association—Copyright.) MANILA, May 13. lhe Prince of Wales has arrived. He was unable to attend the dinner and reception at night as he met with a slight accident playing polo. He was struck by a ball, which slightly bruised and cut. his left cheek. He returned to the Renown, where he was able to dine as usual after the wound was dressed. He will probably be able to fulfil to-morrow’s informal programme. The injury is not causing the slightest anxiety.

FURTHER PARTICULARS. | ? MANILA, May 14. A black eye is the only result of the Prince of Wales’s accident. it did not prevent him from going through the original programme. He had a narrow escape from serious injury. A barrel struck him on the helmet which caused ■ cut above the left eye. FGL LABUAN. MANILLA, May 15. The Prince v Wales landed at midday and motored to the naval establishment at Cavite. He lunched with the senior naval officer of the Islands. The bruise over his eye is healing satisfactorily. He witnessed several games of polo during the afternoon, lint refrained from playing owing to the excessive heat rather than to Saturday’s mishap. He sailed by the Renown to Labuan, where he is d e on Wednesday.
