THE CAR AND PRAM COLLISION. t'er Press Asociation —Copyright. An inquest was held in the Courthouse, Temuka, yesterday afternoon, before Mr E. D. Mosley (Coroner), touching the death of the infant son of Mr and Mrs William Rickus aged one month, who was accidentally killed in a motor accident on the main road opposite the Maori Pa, on Saturday afternoon. Tie Coroner brought in a verdict that the deceased died from concussion of the brain, the result of being accidentally knocked out of a pmm by a .ar. such car being driven along the oid by Annie Connolly. He did not w s to add a rider, but he would imjirees upon car drivers and' the drivers o; any vehicles that can be driven at a fast speed, the necessity of exercising eternal vigilance. If they did not exercise that vigilance there would always be accidents. Ho was auro that the accident was as much regretted by Mrs Connolly ah by Mrs Rickus. He thought that licensee should only he issued to applicants after an examination showing that th'ij were fully qualified.
