TO-MORROW NICHTI : -eVe of tiii-: night." David Holden is a keeper of a lighthouse, on the coast of England. Hence he scans every young woman’s face, to discover whether she is his daughter. In the village, Jane lives with a cruel fisherman, her adopted father, and her sweetheart is Rob Renson. When the great war breaks out Roh goes off and Jane is left to realise that her unborn child will be fatherloss. ' She flies to old David Holden for refuge, and he agrees to keep- her secret. The gossiping villagers interfere and on suspicion that ho : is leading a double life, Holden is discharged. While his suecessc/ir is in charge, a great ah' rajd takes place over England, and the lighthouse is blown ,to atoms. A transport is coming ashore in tv storm without a light to guide it and old David saves it by sotting fire to bis cottage. On the ship is Rob Benson. Jane is discovered to he old David’s daughter, and tall ends well. •
