EAU DE COLOGNE EXPLOSION.

At an inquest at Islington on June 21 on Florence Miiler, 39, a servant, it was stated that Miller put a bottle of eau de cologne in an oven to try and loosen the stopper. The oven door was left open and the attempt was not successful. Next day she put the bottle in the oven again, . closing the door. When she opened it there was an explosion, her clothing was set on fire, and she was terribly burned. The inquiry was adjourned, the coroner saying he would have the eau de cologne analysed.
