r *wtf y"" The many Mends of Gunner D. Neill gathered in the Schoolroom, on Friday evening, to wish him God-speed prior to his leaving for the front. Mr. Kinsman spoke of the many goodTfualities of the guest whom all knew from boyhood. His courage and pluck are greatly admired' in voluntarily donning the khaki. Mr. Kinsman then called, on Mrs. Donnithorne to present Gunner Neill with a wristlet watch. Gunner Neill suitably lesponded in the true soldierly spirit. His friends all join in wishing the young soldier the best of " good luck and a safe return." ■'.-'?. I
