The Hokitika Borough Council has resolved to invest £2OOO subject to legal authority. SCHOOL CHILDREN SUPPORT IT. (Government message-By teiflgraph) WELLINGTON,- this day. Friday's business brings the total up to £806,000, There has been a heavy demand for £1 certificates, and this is no doubt due to the efforts of the school teachers in response to Sir Jos. Ward's circular.
