The chairman, Mr D. A. Fulton (president of the Caledonian Society), on behalf of those: present presented Mr O'Brien with a gold locket pendant, engraved and set in emeralds; a gold bangle' for Mrs O'Brien y and a purse of sovereigns for his three children.
