* ■ EARTHQUAKE AND SEA WAVE. Per rrean Association-Copy rigid. SCVA. yesterday. An earthquake and' tidal wave in the Samoa group were the seveie.-'i on record. The Friendly jffaup c.vpeiienced the earthquake. At lhpai three waves occurred' fourteen lem high. No material damace was done. At Kepp'l Island the w.ave uas worst. .Many native houses were destroyed, and a concrete wharf was cairied away. Titerwere no fatalities. The shock was not felt at Niaufoo.
