There is no difficulty in doing business, and though offerings are only lair in quantity, anything up to sample will change hands readily. Good lines of Tuscan sell at 3s 7d to 3s'Bd, a rise of Id since last quotations. Hunters are linn at 3s 7-J-;d to 3s Ski, showing a similar advance. Pearl is quoted at, 3s 8d to 3s 9d, while 'fowl wheat ranges from 3s 4d to 3s 4|d. The market is also very firm, and, in fact, all grain, except barley, is selling well as soon as ottered, if Kellers' demands are anywhere near the mark. Very choice Gartons are worth Is 9d, but all other sorts remain stationary at late rates. Ryegrass has advanced a few pence, and is quoted at 2s to 2s 6d /for bright samples, inferior remaining unchanged. Potatoes also have firmed up, and noiw £3 is obtainable for gfcod tubers.
