AT ST. HELENA.

The life of the Boer prisoners at St. Helena seems to be a fairly happy one. All the officers are on parole, and a number of the troopers are also a Mowed to come out under the charge of one of their officers. They are frequently in town and spend a lot of money on photographs, curios aud fruit. They are very much in love with St. Helena and everything about it, except the climb back to camp from town, and .have a great respect for the islanders, who, they aver, have treated them most kindly. St. Helena has never seen such profitable times before.
