.SERIOUS FOOD RIOTS. (By Telegraph.—Per Press Association) (Received, 7 p.m., June- 20th.) AMSTERDAM. June 20. Serious food riots are reported at Ax-la-Chapello. Thousands marched in a procession, hut several police charges dispersea them, some of tho demonstrators being injured. Supplies of foodstuffs have not arrived owing to the railway stoppages due to the movements of troops, and the city is reduced to the verge of famine. GERMANY’S WIVES AND MOTHERS.
