The Minister for Fiddle Health, who has charge of the nursing service has approved of the enrolment of 12") addi. tional nurses for the New Zealand Army Nursing Corps. In her report to the Minister, Mbs M. Maclean, officer in charge ot the nurses, states that there are enough nurses now on the list to replace Hie ton nurses who were lost with the transport Marquette. There are now 219 nurses enrolled, including nine reported missing after the sinking of the Maiquelte. Four are in Samoa. LIT in Egypt, 13 with the Australian fort-os in EgypL 11 on the Maheno, 2b on transport duty, eight at Trentham Camp, two at Wellington lliapital, two at Groytowu, and A at Tauhereuikau, while one is at Clifton Terrace Hospital.
